Go from “I want to be a speaker”
to “I AM a speaker!”
There’s a reason why the fear of public speaking is often ranked as people’s #1 fear. It’s not easy. Yet people still take stages, both in-person and virtually. Why?
To build their business . . . To solve people’s problems . . . To share their message
To improve people’s lives . . . To inspire . . . To entertain . . . To educate . . . Etc….
I’m willing to bet some of these why’s resonate with you. You could probably add a few of your own “whys” for becoming a speaker too.
My goal with At the Podium is to help you set yourself up for speaker success with:
- Processes for building your signature presentation
- Strategies for building and organizing the details of who you are as a speaker so you’ll be making a professional and positive impression as an expert in your topic
- Actionable opportunities that will have you taking tangible steps towards your speaking goals
- Opportunities to interact with other like-minded entrepreneurs in an environment that supports your growth as a speaker

Why Professionals Choose
to work with At the Podium
As a result of working with so many new and seasoned speakers, I’ve been able to strategically break down what it takes to be a successful speaker into actionable components. Everything I offer provides you with an opportunity to cross off another item on your “I want to be a speaker” to-do list.
Step #1
Together, we will strategically determine what your speaking goals are, what message you want to deliver, and who the best audience will be for you to share your brilliance with. The information we glean out of these conversations will help us brain storm your content and guide how you organize your words into an informed and full-bodied signature presentation.
Step #2
Once you’ve completed your presentation script, it’s time to choose delivery options that will complement your talk and create an interactive and engaging experience for your audiences.
Step #3
Now that you’ve got your presentation and are comfortable speaking it out loud, it’s time to build your speaker media kit and come up with a strategy for reaching out to event planners, meeting organizers, etc.
Step #4
The last thing you need to come up with before you deliver the best signature talk ever is an after the podium strategy for connecting and continuing the conversation with your audience.
Step #5
This step is for you if you want to work on something specific and/or like the idea of choosing what to work on “a la carte” style—because every speaker is unique and so is their journey to the stage.
